New Super Mario Bros. Wii brings all the things you love about the old school 2D Mario and makes it better. Fanboys and fangirls will be very satisfied with this addition to the Mario franchise. It has 4 player co-op gameplay and 2 new power ups, the awesome penguin suit that allows Mario to throw snowballs and swim through water like a penguin, and the helicopter suit that allows Mario to hover. The controls are very good, almost no added difficulty due to poor controller mechanics. This game is full of nostalgia. It includes all the things about the franchise you want to see. It brings back the look of the old school 2Ds and sharpens the graphics. It plays just like the old school games and it is as difficult as the old school games. The tremendous difficulty of this game will turn off casual gamers but will appease hardcore gamers waiting for a Wii title to stack up. This is a Mario game for Mario fans making up for Super Mario Sunshine and the lack of Mario-ness in Galaxy. New Super Mario Bros. Wii gets 5 out 5
