A Snow Storm Is Just Another Full Moon
Why is it that when it snows the affected population go mad? When the meteorologists call for snow a frenzy begins to ready for the impending frozen precipitation. Even though I live in an urban area that is plowed almost immediately and under usual circumstances the roads are pre-treated, everyone still feels the need to stock up on bread, milk, and eggs. I work in a convenience store/ gas station. with both the last storm and this one we actually sold out of milk, eggs, and most bread. Along with that the frenzy bought all of the salt and firewood. Even though it is winter and most people have firewood and salt, they feel the need to have extra just in case. I understand that it is good to be prepared, but why all the chaos? It is like a fool moon, people act strangely.
